Film star-turned-politician Vijaykanth's new movie, Sudesi, has evoked interest among his fans and the public. It was released on Friday close on the heels of the announcement of the schedule for the Assembly election in the State.

"Will the film provide the much needed morale booster to Vijaykanth, who is the leader of the fledgling Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam? Will it help the `Captain' to overcome all impediments?"
